Hi there,

I was wondering if this is the correct email to contact regarding content on aahproject.blogspot.com?

I just got this exact same email. Same person, same subject, but asking about my blog. Weird!

Same here, and I don't even blog about music except to point and laugh at the RIAA on occasion.

It came at about the same time, too. WTF?

I received this too - I do create graphics about a variety of subjects, including music

However - I started to reply and i was asked if I wanted to "download rest of email?"

Suspicious as this person seems to have no online presence at all (Twitter,Facebook etc) and the email is very vague

I woke up to the same email about dancerobotdance.com. Thought I'd google the name, found this post. So either Sarah Thompson is really curious about the digital music industry, or we're having spam for breakfast.

I got the same from a 'Julianna Davies' - thing is - in my case it shows that someone did some actual work to link my email addy to my website...

aha: In the headers there's this ONE line that's suspicious:

Received: from offandawaymail.com (melinjo.smtp.com [98.129.240.133])
by node-sl254.smtp.com (Postfix) with ESMTPA id 82AE625412F8
for <(my fairly private email addy)>; Mon, 4 Jun 2012 03:04:32 -0400 (EDT)

If it's from Gmail (and going *to* gmail's positini) then it doesn't need to be coming from a hostile 3rd party service.

... this is high quality spam my friends.

Hi people, I just got EXACTLY the same email regarding my blog,

from the same address. I found this thread by googling the email address.

very strange. I will not reply. I wonder what would happen if I did?
